Meet the Creative Director
I have loved drawing, sculpting, painting, creative writing, and engaging with puppets since childhood. Since the early days of performing with sock puppets in my family's living room, my puppets have performed in classrooms, neighborhood festivals and art galleries, and at churches, poetry readings and community gatherings. My puppets, both hand-built and store-bought, have entertained and educated people of all ages, in a variety of ways. Sometimes they read poetry, sometimes they are co-actors in skits, and sometimes they are instrumental to puppet therapy workshops.
Through the years, I've gained an immense amount of creative experience. I've won visual arts and creative writing awards, contributed articles and stories to print publications, performed in theatrical productions, and assisted fashion designers with the production of their New York Fashion Week shows. As for my training in arts and education, I've been trained in puppet therapy, behavioral therapy and life coaching, as well as been certified to teach ESOL. This training allows me to be extremely versatile with audiences from all walks of life!
Since graduating with a bachelor's degree in Advertising and Media Management, I've taken graduate-level courses in business, psychology, literature, copywriting, life coaching, education, and theology. I've taken professional development courses in puppet therapy, behavioral therapy, comedic writing and improvisation, voice acting, acting for the stage and on-camera, creative writing, visual art, and puppet performance. I've shared my talents and passion for the arts in my community as a literacy tutor, puppeteer, children and youth ministry assistant, copywriter, career coach, stylist, and visual artist. Contact Me to schedule a creative, healing puppet therapy workshop.
